We are delighted to announce that Swish Building Products has been awarded Gold status by the Supply Chain Sustainability School (SCSS).
This latest – and highest - award from the SCSS recognises Swish’s continued commitment to increasing our understanding of sustainability and taking positive steps to integrate it into every facet of our business.
Launched in 2012, the Supply Chain Sustainability School is a free virtual learning platform around sustainability, which aims to educate and instruct those working within, or aspiring to work within, the built environment sector. It offers training on a range of sustainability related topics from carbon management and sustainable procurement to fairness inclusion and combatting modern slavery.
Dave Osborne, Technical Manager at Swish Building Products, explains: “The Gold status award from the SCSS shows that we have demonstrated an increase in sustainability competence and have actively shared the knowledge we’ve gained through the SCSS both internally here at Swish and with the wider industry.
“The SCSS has been a positive force in driving the Swish sustainability journey. Its educational resources have proven invaluable in enabling our employees to gain a constructive insight into sustainability issues and, most importantly, the actions they can take to address them. This award is testament to the dedication of our team to actively engage with the SCSS and implement their learnings within Swish, as well as their willingness to share their knowledge and experience with their peers,” concludes Dave.
